  • Tony Familia - Blog about Internet Marketing

  • An Interested Mind - Matt Sederberg on animation, Internet marketing, and interviews with interesting people.

  • Kyle Mathews - Dreams With In. Kyle Mathews is an Information Systems student at BYU. He blogs about computing technology, especially web technologies and applications for improving productivity.
  • Printer Hacks is a site about getting the most out of your printer. Devin Collier runs the site and is a BYU student.

  • Borne Works - the web development firm of Corey Osborne

Marketing

Retail / Bricks and Clicks

  • Rockpick Legend Co. - a real rock shop that cuts and polishs rocks and sells rock tumblers, mineral specimens, fossils, and lapidary equipment. The business is owned and operated by Rick & Anita Dalrymple. Rick is a mineral identification expert, and Anita is a mechanical engineering major (business minor) at BYU.

BYU Specific

  • ProvoPulse is a local website that links students from all over the Provo/Orem area. Specifically focusing on students this website discusses the issues that arise in our community and the issues at large. Run by Jeff Erekson (a byu student) and Elizabeth Erekson (a UVSC student)
  • The Y Board - The Y Board connects student buyers and sellers at Brigham Young University and UVSC. Three BYU Students, Peter Hamilton, Matthew Hamilton, and Nathan Lawler, maintain and promote the Y Board.
  • Online Wilk Board - Have you ever posted anything on the bulletin boards at the Wilk? Have you wished people would stop taking your card down? The Online Wilk Board connects student buyers and sellers.

Genealogy

  • Family Pulse - Upload your genealogy and build a family tree website, add pictures and stories about your ancestors, blog about your genealogy, and connect with your family! (Run by Dave)

Real Estate

  • RateMyApartments - Aaron Hardy and his partner are BYU students who manage this national apartment rating site.
  • Cougar Housing - Mike Leishman helps BYU students find a place to live
  • BYU Housing and Apartments is a rating system which allows students to rate their BYU housing, apartments, and condos. Ben from the Computer Science Dept. is the lead on this project.

Music

  • Something Local - Web site and blog for small, local, and independent bands. By Dennison Harris

Academic Blog

  • Learning Addiction - Tim Olsen started this blog with a group of other BYU students to share their learning experiences, especially those that involve knowledge that is harder to come by.

  • Liberty March - Free markets and self governance by Chris Sandberg
  • School Safety - Justin Bergener works for School Safety. He use to run a blog here (Updated Address?)

  • PICS Auditing - Jeff Jensen is one of the owners of Pacific Industrial Contractor Screening. PICS won 2nd place at the BYU Business Plan Competition in 2005.

  • EFL Planet - Leon is a BYU alumnus who graduated in 1993. He has spent most of the following years teaching English as a Foreign Language. His site is designed for both EFL teachers and students.

Home School

  • Kindred Learning - Ken and Teri Ebert publish a four-year, cyclical, family home school curriculum

Family

Add Your Site to the BYU Blog and Website Directory

There are two steps to get listed in the BYU Blog and Website Directory:

  1. Link to the Directory

    Use the html code for one of the banners or text links to link to the directory (the codes are at the bottom of the page).

  2. Notify the Directory

    Send an email to webmaster@diamondlime.com with the subject line "BYU Directory" and the URL for the page where you placed your link to the directory. Also, it would be helpful to know your full name and whether your are a student or an alumnus.

After you have finished these two steps, your link will be placed in the directory within a few days.

Multiple links per person are allowed.
